Village church Kuhlrade

Kuhlrade church is a simple building from the 18th century with a three-sided choir end and a ridge turret. Inside there are neo-Gothic elements.

The church at Kuhlrade is a half-timbered building with a slender plank tower at the west end. It is covered with slate and has a spire with a ball, weathercock and cross. In the tower is the bell. A small mortuary is annexed to the church on the west side. The interior of the church is very simple but dignified. An ornament of the church is the altar and pulpit covering made of green cloth, donated at Christmas 1897. A harmonium, consecrated in May 1883, is available to accompany the congregational singing.

You can get the key and a guided tour next door in the Storchenhof.
