Observation tower at the Prangenberg

72 steps, over four floors, 30m² platform. Since 2003 location on the Prangenberg, which is already 44 meters above sea level and thus alone allows a beautiful view. Generously laid out hiking and biking trails around Tessin lead into the Recknitz Valley and into the charming countryside to the Wolfsberg Mill, the Gramstorfer Berge nature reserve, and via the district of Vilz to the Vilzer Berge, which are a good 50 meters high. The course of the river Recknitz itself can be adventurously explored with different offers. On the canoe you can not only wonderfully switch off, but with a little luck also observe rare animals, such as the otter, dormouse or lesser spotted eagle and cranes.
