THE ROB RYAN ROADSHOW at Wunderbar Concert No. 95

The Rob Ryan Roadshow has been "on the road" since 2008. Founded in Berlin by American mastermind and singer Robert Ryan and bassist Ralf Sommer, the band has just released their sixth album "Coming Home" (Rhythm Bomb / Shack Rouser) and never before has the mix of roadhouse blues, rockabilly and Americana, for which they are so well known live, been as close together as on this album. In the last 10 years they have already played over 900 shows throughout Europe, including as tour support for BOSSHOSS, IMELDA MAY, MAVERICKS and Revolverheld, and have secured themselves a place in the top league of new roots bands in the music scene from Stockholm to Rome. Their sound, which the Rob Ryan Roadshow call ROOTS MUSIC EXPLOSION, is a mix of Memphis and Backersfield, Hank 3, Iggy Pop and the steamy rockabilly of Ronnie Dawson.
